How to Check If a Forex Broker Is Regulated
1 min read · 5/16/2026
Verify licenses with official regulators before you deposit.
Regulation is the first filter when choosing a forex broker.
1. Identify the legal entity name on the broker website. 2. Search the official register (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, etc.) for that entity. 3. Confirm the license covers retail forex/CFDs where you live. 4. Cross-check company address and contact details.
FXTrustIndex lists claimed licenses with links to regulator pages. Always verify directly with the regulator — marketing badges are not proof.
