I’m Priya from Bangalore and I’ve been using Revolut mainly for small FX conversions and occasional hedging around travel payments. The onboarding was quick, KYC was straightforward, and the app UI is honestly one of the cleanest I’ve used. Converting between INR and major currencies is simple and the rate can be good at certain times, but I noticed the effective spread/fees can widen during off-hours or when markets are jumpy, so I stopped doing larger conversions late night. Deposits have been reliable for me and the in-app confirmations are clear. Withdrawals are mostly fine, but one transfer took longer than I expected (still completed), which is why I’m not giving a perfect score there. Support is responsive inside the app, although I sometimes had to re-explain the issue when the conversation got handed over. Overall, it’s a solid option for convenience and a modern interface, but I still double-check the rate before confirming bigger FX exchanges.

For that use case it’s been really convenient: the app is fast, the exchange rates are usually competitive for my small amounts, and I can see everything clearly without digging through menus. For actual forex trading, though, it feels more like a money-management app than a trader’s platform. I can’t set up the kind of order control and chart workflow I’m used to (alerts, detailed order types, and execution tools). It’s fine for holding and converting, but I wouldn’t rely on it for frequent in-and-out trades. Deposits have been straightforward for me and I haven’t had any scary surprises, but I did have one withdrawal that took longer than I expected, which is why I’m not giving full marks there. Support replies were polite and helpful, just not always instant. Overall: great for everyday currency handling and basic exposure, not ideal if your main goal is active forex trading.
