I’m based in Sharjah and I’ve been using Saxo Markets for about six months mainly for major FX pairs and a bit of gold around news events. The platform feels very professional and stable, and I like how clean the order ticket is (especially the ability to set stop/limit and see margin impact before confirming). Spreads have been competitive for what I trade, and execution has been consistent during normal market hours. Where it loses a star for me is the admin side. The onboarding and compliance questions were thorough, which I understand, but it took more back-and-forth than I expected. Also, some of the account reports and fee breakdowns are detailed but not always easy to interpret if you just want a quick summary. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want a “serious” broker experience and don’t mind extra verification steps. I’d still recommend it, just with the expectation that setup can be slower than the more lightweight apps.
