I’m based in Abu Dhabi and opened a Standard account mainly for majors (EUR/USD, GBP/USD) and some indices. Overall the platform feels stable and execution has been consistent during normal sessions. Spreads are generally reasonable, though around news releases I noticed the cost can widen and it’s not always obvious in advance what the effective all-in cost will be. Depositing was straightforward and the funds showed up quickly. Withdrawals worked, but the processing time felt a bit slower than I expected compared to some other apps I’ve used—nothing dramatic, just not “same day.” Support was helpful when I asked about account reports and statement downloads; they answered clearly, but I had to wait a little for a follow-up. In summary: professional feel, dependable trading experience, and good reporting tools. If they improved transparency around fees/spread behavior and sped up withdrawals a touch, it would easily be 5 stars.

Good charts, but onboarding and verification takes time

I trade from Gurugram and opened a Standard account with City Index around 4 months back. Deposit via bank transfer was fine and credited the same day. I mainly trade EUR/USD and GBP/USD with short-term setups. Charts and order placement are clean, and I haven’t faced platform crashes. The only frustrating part was verification—my account got flagged for additional checks after the first withdrawal request. It wasn’t rejected, just delayed. Support eventually resolved it, but the back-and-forth over email took time. Overall it’s usable, but they should streamline KYC and provide faster updates.
