I’m Layla from Abu Dhabi and I mainly trade around my work schedule, so an app that’s fast and simple is a big deal for me. My experience with Revolut has been mostly positive: onboarding was smooth, the interface is clean, and I can quickly check positions and exposure without feeling overwhelmed. Execution felt fine for my style (smaller position sizes, mostly major FX pairs and occasional index exposure), but I did notice that costs can feel a bit opaque if you’re not paying attention—spreads/fees seem to vary depending on market conditions and the plan level. I’d love clearer cost breakdowns at the point of trade, especially during volatile sessions. Deposits have been the strongest part for me: instant and hassle-free. Withdrawals worked, but not always as quickly as I expected, and I had one withdrawal that stayed “processing” longer than usual before it finally landed. Support was polite and eventually helpful, but it can take some back-and-forth to reach someone who understands trading-specific questions. Overall I’ll keep using it for convenience, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my only trading setup.

Simple interface and quick top-ups, but pricing needs more clarity

The app experience is smooth and everything feels modern—setting up was fast, KYC was straightforward, and adding funds was basically instant for me. What I like most is how easy it is to move money around and convert between currencies without jumping through too many menus. The execution for conversions feels responsive and I haven’t faced any app crashes. Where I think it can improve is transparency around the final rate/fees at the moment of conversion. Most of the time it’s fine, but I’d prefer a clearer breakdown (spread vs any markup) before confirming. Also, during high-volatility moments the rate can move quickly, so I now double-check before I tap confirm. Overall, it’s a convenient tool for day-to-day FX needs and monitoring, just not my first choice if I’m being extremely cost-sensitive on every conversion.

Clean app and smooth conversions, but not built for active FX trading

I’m based in Al Ain and I started using Revolut mainly to manage travel money and small currency conversions. For that use case it’s been really convenient: the app is fast, the exchange rates are usually competitive for my small amounts, and I can see everything clearly without digging through menus. For actual forex trading, though, it feels more like a money-management app than a trader’s platform. I can’t set up the kind of order control and chart workflow I’m used to (alerts, detailed order types, and execution tools). It’s fine for holding and converting, but I wouldn’t rely on it for frequent in-and-out trades. Deposits have been straightforward for me and I haven’t had any scary surprises, but I did have one withdrawal that took longer than I expected, which is why I’m not giving full marks there. Support replies were polite and helpful, just not always instant. Overall: great for everyday currency handling and basic exposure, not ideal if your main goal is active forex trading.
