Structured evaluation that kept me disciplined

I’m Huda from Abu Dhabi and I used Topstep for an evaluation-style account to bring more structure to my trading. The rules and the daily loss limit pushed me to size down and focus on cleaner setups instead of overtrading. The platform connection was stable on my side and tracking metrics was straightforward. What I didn’t love is that the rules can feel tight if volatility spikes, so you need to plan around news and widen your buffer. Overall it did what I wanted: it forced consistency, and that’s worth a lot. I’d recommend it for traders who actually want guardrails, but it’s not ideal if you rely on very aggressive scaling or holding through heavy swings.
