I’m Hessa from Abu Dhabi and I’ve been using Rakutensec for about 6 months. Overall it feels stable and “serious” compared with some app-first brokers. Execution on major FX pairs has been consistent for me and I haven’t had any random disconnects during London/NY overlap. The downside is the interface/workflow. Finding some settings (like order defaults and alerts) took more clicks than I expected, and the platform feels built for experienced users rather than someone who wants everything simplified. Spreads are generally fine on majors, but I wouldn’t call them the absolute tightest during fast news. Deposits were straightforward using my card/bank option and the funds showed up without drama. Withdrawals did arrive, but not as fast as some other brokers I tried—still within a reasonable window. Support was polite and accurate when I asked about swap charges and trading hours, just not “instant” on the first reply. I’m keeping the account because the trading side is dependable, and I can live with the UI learning curve.
