Solid platform for longer-term FX/CFD positioning, but deposits could be smoother

I’m Ananya Gupta from Mumbai and I’ve been using Questrade for about 6 months alongside my usual FX apps. My use case is mostly swing trades and hedges around big events rather than heavy scalping. What I like: the platform feels stable and I haven’t had any random disconnections during market opens. Order placement is straightforward, and once I set alerts and basic risk controls, it’s easy to manage positions without constantly watching the screen. What I don’t like: funding the account from India felt more “process-driven” than I expected. It worked, but there were a few steps and confirmation checks that made it slower than an instant UPI-style experience. Spreads/fees are not the absolute cheapest for very frequent trading, so if you’re doing lots of small intraday entries, it may not feel optimal. Support has been polite and clear when I asked questions about account setup and confirmations. Overall I’m satisfied, just not a perfect 5 because the deposit experience and overall friction could be improved.
