Professional platform, steep learning curve but reliable fills

I’m Vikram from Bangalore and I’ve been using Interactive Brokers mainly for currency pairs alongside some index exposure. The platform feels very “pro” and the order types are more advanced than what I’m used to, but that also means the first couple of weeks were honestly confusing. Once I set up my workspace and hotkeys, execution felt consistent and I didn’t notice random re-quotes. Costs are generally fair, but you need to pay attention to which pricing plan you’re on and how commissions are applied, otherwise it’s easy to misread your real trading cost. Reports are detailed (sometimes too detailed), but I like being able to audit every trade. Deposit was smooth via bank transfer. Withdrawals worked, but the first one took longer than I expected because of verification and my bank’s processing time. Support was knowledgeable when I reached them, though I had to wait for a proper response instead of instant chat-style help. Overall: solid broker for serious trading, just not the simplest experience for a beginner.
