I’m Priya from Mumbai and I’ve been using Interactive Brokers for about 6 months mainly for FX majors and some index CFDs. The execution has been consistent for my style (mostly limit entries, occasional market orders around London open), and I like having everything in one place. That said, the learning curve is real. The platform feels built for professionals, so simple things like finding the right FX order type, setting alerts, or locating specific reports took me longer than expected. Once I set up my layouts and hotkeys it got much smoother. Deposits were straightforward from my side, but withdrawals require a bit of planning because of the checks and confirmations. It’s not “slow,” just not as instant as some simpler apps. Support has been okay—helpful when I reached the right team, but the first response sometimes feels templated. Overall I’m satisfied, just wouldn’t recommend it as a first broker for someone brand new.

The platform feels very “pro” and the order types are more advanced than what I’m used to, but that also means the first couple of weeks were honestly confusing.
