I’m Layla Khan trading from Abu Dhabi, and I’ve been using OANDA mainly for FX majors on a Standard account. Overall the experience has been steady: orders generally go through without drama and pricing feels consistent during normal market hours. What I like: the platform is straightforward, and I can manage positions quickly without digging through menus. I also appreciate that account activity and statements are easy to find when I’m reconciling my trades. What I don’t like as much: the charting and layout feel a bit utilitarian compared to some newer apps, and I wish there were a few more built-in tools for quick multi-timeframe checks. During higher-volatility moments, I’ve noticed small slippage on market orders (not shocking, but it’s there), so I’ve switched to using limits more often. Deposits were instant for me. Withdrawals worked, but not as fast as I expected on one occasion—it cleared, just took an extra business day. Support answered my questions politely and gave clear steps, though I did have to follow up once to get a final confirmation.

I’m Rahul from Kolkata and I’ve been using OANDA on and off alongside my day job. Execution on majors has been dependable for my style (mostly EUR/USD and USD/JPY), and the platform feels stable even during busy sessions. Spreads are generally fine, and I like that the pricing doesn’t feel like it’s constantly jumping around when I place a market order. My only real negative is that the cost/fee breakdown could be surfaced more clearly in the flow. I understand the charges, but I’d prefer more in-app prompts/summary before confirming certain actions, especially when I’m switching between instruments. Support was polite and gave direct answers, just not always on the first message. Overall I’m comfortable keeping a portion of my trading here, but I still check the total costs carefully.
