I trade from Gurugram and opened a Standard account with City Index around 4 months back. Deposit via bank transfer was fine and credited the same day. I mainly trade EUR/USD and GBP/USD with short-term setups. Charts and order placement are clean, and I haven’t faced platform crashes. The only frustrating part was verification—my account got flagged for additional checks after the first withdrawal request. It wasn’t rejected, just delayed. Support eventually resolved it, but the back-and-forth over email took time. Overall it’s usable, but they should streamline KYC and provide faster updates.

Trading ok, but fees/charges clarity could be better

Jaipur se hoon, City Index pe Standard account 7 months se use kar रहा hoon. Deposit maine bank transfer se kiya (SBI) and same day credit ho gaya. Trading mostly EUR/USD, GBP/JPY aur XAU/USD. Execution overall theek hai, but overnight swap/rollover charges ka calculation mujhe itna transparent nahi laga. Ek do baar statement check karna पड़ा to understand what got charged. Withdrawal: 2-3 working days normally aa jata hai, but ek time 4 days lag gaye. Support ne explain kiya but reply late aaya. Overall 3-star because experience mixed hai—kaam chal jata hai, par perfect nahi.

Platform theek hai, but withdrawals mein thoda delay

Main Mumbai se hoon, City Index pe Standard account 8 months se use kar raha hoon. Deposit maine UPI (Google Pay) se kiya tha—first time within 10-15 minutes credit ho gaya. Trading mostly EUR/USD, GBP/USD aur XAU/USD pe karta hoon. Spreads generally ok mile, especially London session mein, but news time pe slippage noticeable tha. Withdrawal experience mixed रहा. Pehli baar bank transfer (HDFC) pe 2 working days mein aa gaya. Dusri baar ₹35k ke around withdraw kiya to additional verification मांगा and total 5 working days lag gaye. Support ne reply diya, but follow-up ke bina update nahi aata. Overall broker scam type nahi लगा, but process smooth bhi nahi hai.

Average experience from Chennai—good platform, slow-ish withdrawals

I’ve been with City Index in Chennai for about 10 months on a Standard account. Deposits via net banking (NEFT) were smooth and usually reflected within the same working day. I trade mostly EUR/USD and USD/CHF, with occasional gold (XAU/USD). Platform is reliable, and order placement is easy. The downside: spreads widen during major announcements and I’ve had a couple of partial fills on larger lot sizes. Withdrawals are the weak spot. One withdrawal was credited in 3 business days, but another took 5–6 business days. Support responded, but it felt like standard templates and I didn’t get a clear ETA. So overall it’s a balanced 3 stars: strong on platform and deposits, average on withdrawals and support responsiveness.

Decent execution, but customer support is slow during issues

I’m from Kochi and have been trading with City Index on a Standard account for around 6 months. Funded using debit card first, then switched to bank transfer. Card deposit was instant, bank transfer took same day. I mainly trade USD/JPY and EUR/USD, sometimes NAS100 CFDs. Execution is mostly fine on normal days, but when US CPI came out last month I faced re-quotes/slippage that messed up my stop. Not blaming them fully because volatility, but it happened more than I expected. Withdrawal: my first withdrawal to my bank account took 3 business days. Second one took 4 business days because they asked for address proof again. Support replies, but it’s not quick—email took almost 24 hours and live chat had a long wait. Overall, okay broker but not super smooth.
