For my style (short intraday trades on majors), execution has been consistent and I rarely see weird spikes on the platform. Spreads are generally acceptable during liquid hours, but they can widen more than I expect around major news, so I avoid trading announcements here. Deposits were straightforward from my side and credited quickly. Withdrawals have been okay overall, but the timing feels a bit unpredictable—sometimes it’s fast, other times I’m left waiting without a clear status update beyond “processing.” Support has been polite and they do respond, but I’d like more concrete timelines instead of generic replies. Overall I’m satisfied and I still use the account, but FXCM would be much stronger for me with clearer withdrawal tracking and more transparent ETAs.
