I’m Layla from Abu Dhabi and I’ve been using CommSec for about 6 months. The overall experience has been stable and the platform feels reliable, especially for checking positions and order history. Execution has been consistent for the way I trade (mostly small swing positions), and I like that the interface doesn’t feel cluttered. What kept me from giving 5 stars is the cost side. When I place smaller trades, the fees/charges feel more noticeable and it pushes me to size up or trade less often. Also, some parts of the app could be a bit faster when markets are moving. Support has been decent the few times I needed clarification on account settings—polite and clear, but not always instant. Deposits have been smooth for me. Withdrawals worked, but I did have one case where it took longer than I expected (not a major issue, just something to plan for).

I’m Khalid from Sharjah and I’ve been using CommSec alongside my regular FX accounts mainly for watching market news, placing the occasional trade, and keeping everything in one place. The platform feels stable and I haven’t had random freezes during busy sessions. Order tickets are clear and I like that confirmations are straightforward. What keeps it from being a perfect score is the overall cost/fee feel compared to some pure FX brokers, plus the onboarding and account admin steps felt a little slower and more formal than what I’m used to. Once the account was running, it was fine. Deposits were smooth for me, but withdrawals took a bit longer than I expected (not a problem, just not fast). Support was polite and professional—more “bank style” than “trader chat,” but they answered my questions without pushing me around.
