I’m Arjun from Bengaluru and I’ve been using SBI Securities mainly for building a long-term portfolio with occasional short-term trades. Account opening and KYC were straightforward, and I like the feeling of using a familiar local institution. What I like: order placement is generally reliable, contract notes and reports are easy to find, and the platform works fine for delivery investments. What I don’t like: the interface feels dated, and during busy market hours I’ve seen minor slowdowns that make quick entries stressful. For someone who trades more actively, the workflow (watchlists, charting, modifying orders) takes more taps/clicks than it should. Overall it’s good enough for my needs, but I wouldn’t call it a “trader-first” experience. If they modernize the UI and speed up the navigation, it would easily be a 5 for me.

I’m Mariam from Sharjah and I’ve been using SBI SEC for about six months mainly for FX majors and some index CFDs during the London session. Overall the platform has been stable for me and I haven’t had any surprise requotes. Spreads are not always the tightest during quieter hours, but during active market periods they feel fair. The main downside in my case was the onboarding/KYC flow—everything was legitimate, but it took a few back-and-forth messages to get documents accepted in the exact format they wanted. Once the account was live, deposits showed up without issues and I could place trades immediately. Support is generally helpful, but sometimes I had to follow up to get a clear timeline rather than a generic reply. Still, I feel comfortable trading here and I’m continuing to use it as one of my accounts.
