Trading conditions at Rakutensec were acceptable, but one withdrawal took longer than expected. Eventually received funds after additional verification.

I’m Arjun from Bangalore and I’ve been using Rakuten Securities for about 6 months. Overall the platform feels polished and reliable. Order placement is straightforward, charts load quickly, and I haven’t had random disconnects during active sessions. Spreads on the majors were reasonable for my style (mostly intraday EUR/USD and USD/JPY) and execution felt consistent with minimal requotes. What I didn’t love was the onboarding/KYC pace. I had to resubmit one document because the upload looked slightly blurry, and the verification timeline stretched out more than I expected. Support was polite and gave clear instructions, but it still added friction at the start. Deposits were smooth once the account was active. Withdrawals worked, but I’d like a bit more transparency on processing stages (it sometimes feels like you’re waiting without updates). If they improve the status tracking and make the initial verification smoother, I’d happily rate it higher.

Support was polite and professional when I asked about the transfer timeline and fees, but responses weren’t instant. If you’re patient and you prefer a more traditional broker experience, it’s a solid option. If you want super-fast in-app funding and simple tracking, you may find it a little dated.
