I’m Sara from Al Ain and I’ve been using Charles Schwab for about 6 months. Overall the experience has been reliable and professional, especially on the web platform. Order tickets are clear, I rarely see downtime, and the account area feels well organized. For spot FX specifically, it sometimes feels like it isn’t the main focus compared to other markets. I had to click around more than I expected to find certain FX-related reports, and some of the terminology in statements took me a moment to understand. Deposits were straightforward and credited when they said they would. Withdrawals also worked, but I did have one transfer that took longer than my “usual expectation” (not a huge issue, just not as fast as I hoped). Support was polite and knowledgeable; the first agent couldn’t answer one detail about statement formatting, but they escalated it and followed up. Not perfect for a pure FX-only workflow, but as a dependable broker experience it’s been good for me so far.

I’m based in Ajman and I opened my account mainly for having everything under one roof. For FX, the overall reliability has been good—orders go through without drama and I haven’t seen random disconnections at the worst moment. What I like most is the overall platform stability and the amount of research/market commentary available. It feels like a “grown-up” brokerage experience. What I don’t love: the forex experience isn’t as streamlined as brokers that focus on MT4/MT5 style trading. If you’re used to very fast workflow for scalping (rapid order entry, quick change of lot sizes, templates), you may find it a little slower. Spreads and trading costs are not always as competitive as the FX-only brokers I’ve used. Deposits were straightforward, but withdrawals took a bit longer than I expected (not a problem, just not instant). Support was polite and professional, but sometimes I had to wait for the right team/department when my question was specifically about FX settings. Overall: trustworthy feel and strong tools, just not my first choice for very active intraday FX.
